What we do
Boats spend most of the year at the dock, while many people who would love to sail never get the chance. ShareMySea exists to close that gap: a single place where owners share their outings, crew members find a berth, and everyone finds the gear, professionals and information they need — free to join, no commission on private ads.

- Where does ShareMySea operate?
- Mainly metropolitan France and its overseas territories, on both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts as well as inland waters. Visiting sailors are welcome to use the site while cruising in France.
- What does it cost?
- Creating an account and posting private classified ads is free. Optional Premium plans give more visibility, and marine professionals have dedicated paid offers.
- Is cost sharing legal?
- Yes, provided the owner only shares actual running costs — fuel, mooring, food — and makes no profit. A dedicated calculator on the site helps compute a fair contribution.
- In which language is the site?
- The platform and its listings are in French. This page is an English overview; you can browse the site with your browser translation if needed.
